What is chi energy in martial arts

Qi Gong

Relaxed to inner balance

Impulse course 1

Introduction to the practice of Qigong. Start of a three-part series of short seminars in the “TAO FIT” fitness studio in Dresden.

Qigong is one of the 5 pillars of traditional Chinese medicine. The collective term Qigong brings together hundreds of methods for the prevention and treatment of illnesses as well as for the mobilization of self-regulating powers, mental training and healing treatments. With the movement exercises of Qigong we cultivate our life energy, find inner peace and balance. In contrast to yoga, most Qigong sets are characterized by flowing, merging and coordinatively demanding movements. Qigong trains and regulates the body, breathing and mind. It is used preventively but also in conjunction with many diseases and in the field of rehabilitation. The progress and success of the practice should gradually come about in Qigong. In this first workshop you will get to know the millstone entrance, wake up the Qi, get the moon out of the water and practice the ChangShouGong, the Taoist exercise for a long life.

We practice Qigong in simple and comfortable clothing as well as shoes with thin soles or barefoot. Bring something to drink and a small snack with you to the seminars! During the break you can also buy coffee, tea or shakes.

Energy for martial arts (with Yi to Qi)

Impulse course 2

In Asian martial arts one cultivated the development of external physical forces AND the development of Qi, a powerful invisible energy. This “inner training” is not only part of the so-called inner martial arts like TaiJiQuan, BaguaZhang or XingYi, but probably an element of every fighting style.

The “inner strength” fundamentally improves the efficiency of your athleticism. It must first be acquired and then cultivated regularly and finally culminates in sheer superhuman strength manifestations of great martial arts masters, whose numerous break test video clips can be found on the Internet. In this second part of our series of impulse courses, you will get fit with DaLiGong, the exercises of great strength. You become a yellow dragon with claws, thrust your fist with sparkling eyes and move in the corridor of the old scholar.

We practice Qigong in simple and comfortable clothing as well as shoes with thin soles or barefoot.

Energy for the healing power (discover your Qi)

Impulse course 3

With “Yi”, the focused attention, the Qi can be directed. Whether moving or silent Qigong, it works on many levels and after just a few hours of practice. The stronger the so-called “Qigong state” develops, the more we support the self-healing powers. It often only arises after years of practice as a result of improved sensitivity and other effects.

If you practice in the Qigong state, the healing powers assigned to the respective exercises work even more strongly. If you cultivate this particular state of being further, it can increase the effectiveness of “Qi massage”, “Qi acupressure” and similar methods. And even the ancient and mysterious phenomenon of energy healing "Wai Qi Liao Fa (外 气 疗法)" is based on the effects of this special kind of perception. In this 3rd workshop we work with partner exercises. Through touch and micro-movements we set anchors and begin to “open the joints”, “straighten the spine” and perceive the inner flow of Qi energy.

We practice Qigong in simple and comfortable clothing as well as shoes with thin soles or barefoot. A warming sweater or extra socks can be beneficial during lying down exercises.

Bring something to drink and a small snack with you to the seminars! During the break you can also buy coffee, tea or shakes.
